Description
FirstEnergy Service Company is hiring a DOT Program Coordinator to provide technical support for Department of Transportation projects involving the design and relocation of electric transmission and distribution facilities. The role coordinates engineering estimate packages, DOT correspondence and agreements, billing analyses, electronic utility systems, project databases, meetings, training, and regulatory updates. Preferred reporting locations are Akron, Ohio; Fairmont, West Virginia; or Greensburg, Pennsylvania, with service-center locations considered based on availability. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 0–1 years of experience or a high school diploma with at least two years of related experience, along with knowledge of electric transmission and distribution systems, map and drawing interpretation, communication, PC application proficiency, travel, and a valid driver's license.
