Description
Brightpoint is hiring a part-time Doula II to provide culturally sensitive prenatal and perinatal support to at-risk women, including home visits, mental health support, curriculum facilitation, assessments, goal-setting, referrals, and service planning. The role maintains a caseload of 10 participants, attends births as requested, and supports traditional doulas through an on-call system. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in social work or human services, doula training, at least two years of experience working with children and families, and the ability to work in the Rockford, Illinois area; a master’s degree, DONA certification, and bilingual English-Spanish communication are preferred. The position pays $22.35-$23.35 per hour and requires 20 hours per week.
