Description

Planet Technologies is hiring a DoW Account Executive to drive revenue growth and strategic account expansion within the Department of War and broader federal defense ecosystem. The role combines executive relationship management, business development, portfolio oversight, Microsoft modernization solutions, and P&L and forecasting leadership. Candidates need extensive federal IT services, account growth, and financial-management experience, along with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, security-clearance ability, and willingness to travel. The position offers a base salary of $110,000 to $180,000 plus an incentive plan.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Required Previous Experiences: 15+ years supporting DoW or federal civilian agencies through IT services, consulting, systems integration, cloud, or digital modernization programs
10+ years leading growth, account management, capture, delivery, or portfolio operations within federal markets
5+ years owning financial performance, forecasting, pipeline development, or P&L management
15 years providing IT services to the United States federal government in management consulting or IT professional services
15 years managing and driving strategy for large, diverse teams and complex projects within the DoW space
At least 5 years in P&L management, financial forecasting, invoicing, contract management, proposal development, and deal or pursuit management
Experience delivering complex technical solutions involving Microsoft technologies
Established relationships with federal CXO-level leaders and ability to build relationships with changing administration officials
Deep understanding of federal procurement and experience expanding programs and closing new business
Ability to hold and maintain a security clearance and travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications: Experience positioning Microsoft cloud, security, AI, data, and workplace modernization solutions in federal environments
