UCB is hiring a Downstream Biomanufacturing Process Expert for its internal manufacturing team at its Georgia, United States campus. The role contributes to designing and delivering a new biologics manufacturing facility by representing manufacturing needs, translating operational requirements into project inputs, reviewing purification, filtration, and buffer-preparation processes, and supporting health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. Candidates need a relevant scientific or engineering degree or equivalent experience, at least seven years of biopharmaceutical operations and large-scale drug substance or purification project experience, at least five years in regulated manufacturing, and strong knowledge of mammalian biopharmaceutical production and supporting digital tools. The position is hybrid with approximately 40% office time and may require occasional travel to Europe.
