Corteva Agriscience is hiring a Downstream Process Engineer in Indianapolis to lead the development and scale-up of downstream processes for fermentation-derived materials. The role partners with fermentation, analytical, formulation, and scale-up teams to improve recovery, purity, yield, reliability, and transfer readiness, while applying experimental design, data analysis, and engineering principles. Responsibilities include designing downstream studies, developing scalable purification strategies, troubleshooting process issues, supporting technology transfer, and leading technical workstreams. The position requires a PhD or relevant MS with industry experience, at least three years of fermentation-based product scale-up or manufacturing experience, and expertise in downstream unit operations.
