Description
The Drafter I prepares working plans, layouts, and detailed drawings from verbal instructions, sketches, drawings, and engineering specifications. The role develops designs and specifications, uses CAD systems to create models, assemblies, and bills of materials, verifies dimensions and materials, supports scheduling and costing, resolves mechanical and fabrication issues, documents engineering changes, and provides project status updates. The position requires 1–2 years of relevant drafting experience, proficiency with AutoCAD 2018 or Autodesk Inventor 2018 or later, and a general understanding of bolted tanks or aluminum geodesic domes.
