Glencore is hiring an experienced Drill and Blast Engineer for Rolleston Open Cut, a 16Mtpa thermal coal mine in Central Queensland. Reporting to the Short-Term Planning Superintendent, the role develops drill patterns, loading and blast tie-in designs, optimises blasts, coordinates with Survey and Operations, supports mine planning, contributes to continuous improvement and blast optimisation trials, and mentors Mining Engineers. The position requires a tertiary Mining Engineering qualification, relevant experience, proficiency in Vulcan and BlastLogic, and strong analytical, organisational, communication, and stakeholder skills.
