Boart Longyear is recruiting Driller Assistants for multi-year underground drilling contracts across Ontario, including Sudbury, Matachewan, Musselwhite, Wawa, and Kirkland Lake. The role supports drilling operations by handling rods and tools, collecting samples, mixing drilling fluids, performing basic equipment maintenance, completing pre-start checks, maintaining records, and following safety and risk-control procedures. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid First Aid Certificate, literacy and numeracy skills, and at least two years of directly related experience; exposure to different drilling environments and techniques is preferred. The position pays $24.90 to $30.71 per hour plus bonus and includes medical, dental, vision, pension, and other benefits.
