Description
The Exploration Team Member performs subsurface exploration using conventional drilling and in-situ testing methods, including auger, mud rotary, air rotary, diamond-bit coring, cone penetration, pressure meter, and rock dilatometer testing. The role also installs instrumentation and monitoring wells, maintains and repairs drilling equipment, conducts surveys and site reconnaissance, prepares project paperwork, drives drilling equipment, and oversees a two- or three-person drill crew. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least three years of experience, proficiency in geotechnical or environmental drilling methods, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card within 30 days; regional drilling licensure may be required.
