Description
The Geotechnical Driller Assistant supports the setup and operation of drilling rigs and related equipment for geotechnical exploration test boring. Responsibilities include inspecting equipment and vehicles, loading supplies, following safety policies, training and performing logging and sample packaging, assisting with equipment repairs and maintenance, supporting drilling operations, providing sampling tools, communicating site conditions to engineering staff, and managing time effectively. The role requires outdoor work, occasional travel of one to seven days, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a preferred Class A CDL.
