Description
The Driver supervises and coordinates transportation for residents to activities and community events, safely operates a community van or bus, loads and unloads residents, secures wheelchairs, maintains vehicles and trip records, and provides a caring, patient service. The role requires a valid state driver’s license, current First Aid and CPR, a criminal background and fingerprint check, flexible weekend and holiday availability, and the ability to communicate with residents and families. A high school diploma, senior-care experience, and relevant exemption documentation are preferred, while compensation is based on experience and education or certification requirements.
