Description
The Driver Apprentice trains with a WM Driver and/or WM Driver Trainer after obtaining a Commercial Driving Permit, then safely operates a commercial refuse or recycling vehicle while completing required training. The role includes vehicle inspections, route service, customer communication, incident reporting, route-efficiency improvement, and assistance with loading, hoisting, and backing maneuvers. Applicants must be at least 18, legally eligible to work in the United States, able to communicate in English, and hold a Commercial or Non-commercial Driver's License Class C or D; a high school diploma or GED and a CDL permit are preferred.
