Description
DS Smith Packaging is recruiting Night Shift Class 1 Drivers at its Fordham site to operate modern articulated curtainsider trucks for palletised deliveries and paper reel collections across the UK. The role involves safe HGV operation, route adherence, vehicle inspections, delivery records, trailer preparation, customer communication, and compliance with driver, tachograph, and working-time regulations. Candidates need a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with no more than three penalty points, Driver CPC, a digital tachograph card, UK driving-regulation knowledge, and a strong safety record; LGV1 experience and warehouse-loading familiarity are desirable. The shift pattern includes nights Monday–Friday, additional sixth shifts, and Sunday–Thursday shifts, with up to 48 hours per week.
