Description
The American School for the Deaf is hiring a Driver for its Transportation department to safely transport students between home and school. The role involves preparing vehicles, completing trip reports, communicating with students, staff, and parents, and performing vehicle maintenance. Applicants must hold a valid driver’s license, a CDL-C with the appropriate endorsement and air-brake endorsement, a current medical card, an excellent driving record, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The position requires flexible Monday–Friday hours and availability for weekends, evenings, field trips, sports away games, tournaments, and occasional overnight travel. Sign language skills are preferred but not required.
