Description
The Class A CDL Driver delivers building materials and other customer orders to customer sites, operates vehicles weighing more than 26,000 pounds and may tow vehicles or trailers greater than 10,000 pounds, loads and secures products, assists with unloading, verifies orders, maintains delivery records, and provides customer service. The role also includes vehicle inspections, hours-of-service logging, forklift or non-motorized material-handling work, and safety procedures. A high school diploma or GED, age 21 or older, a valid driver’s license, a Class A CDL, a clean MVR, a DOT medical card, fewer than five moving violations in the last five years, basic math and measurement skills, and English proficiency are required; two years of CDL driving experience are strongly preferred.
