GFL Environmental is hiring a Driver Helper in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to assist drivers and employees collecting solid waste and recyclable materials. The role involves backing up and maneuvering vehicles, operating truck equipment, checking vehicles and equipment, reporting customer issues, maintaining safety and personal protective equipment standards, cleaning vehicles, and assisting with sorting, cleaning, stacking, and compactor operation. A valid driver’s license and ability to meet safety-sensitive-function criteria are required; a high school diploma or GED and one to three months of related experience or training are desired but not required.
