Description
The Columbus Metropolitan Library is hiring a Driver/Sorter for its Gahanna Operations Center. The role combines sorting library materials by destination, processing incoming and outgoing materials, loading and unloading a 26-foot box truck, delivering materials, performing basic vehicle maintenance, and supporting special events and courier services. The position is full-time, non-exempt, and requires a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or G.E.D., and the ability to sort alphabetically and numerically; three years of driving experience and experience operating a 26-foot box truck are preferred. The schedule includes weekday and weekend shifts, with core hours after training of Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 2:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
