Description
The Driver Support Staff supports Senior Transportation Connection drivers by performing vehicle and garage maintenance, vehicle inspections, cleaning, disinfection, and documentation. The role also serves as a backup driver, operating passenger vehicles on assigned routes throughout Cuyahoga County, assisting passengers, loading and unloading walking aids and packages, maintaining route safety and dispatch communication, and completing required licenses, certifications, and training. The position reports to a Driver Supervisor, is non-exempt, and requires a high school diploma or equivalent, customer-service experience, at least three years of driving experience, insurance underwriter approval, background and drug testing, and a physical examination.
