Description
Republic Services is hiring a Driver Trainee to complete a comprehensive commercial driver’s license training program, including classroom study, on-route training, driving experience, and resources to take and pass the state CDL examination. After obtaining a CDL and completing twelve full months of employment, the trainee will be moved into a Driver position in Residential, Commercial, Industrial, or Roll-Off waste services. The role includes vehicle inspections, safe operation of heavy or commercial trucks, route and customer service, refuse loading, waste monitoring, and compliance with safety policies. No prohibitions to acquiring a commercial driver’s license are required, and eligible employees may participate in medical, dental, vision, retirement, insurance, paid time off, and other benefits.
