Description
Republic Services is hiring a Driver Trainee to complete a commercial driver’s license (CDL) training program, including classroom study, on-route training, driving experience, and resources to take and pass the state CDL examination. After obtaining a CDL and completing twelve months of employment, the trainee will be moved into a Driver position in Residential, Commercial, Industrial, or Roll-Off waste collection. The role includes vehicle inspections, safe operation of heavy or commercial trucks, route and customer service, refuse loading, waste monitoring, and safety compliance. The pay range is $19.70 to $21.67, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits available.
