Description
Quest Global is seeking a Drop Test Simulation Engineer to perform explicit dynamic simulations of consumer electronic products using Abaqus/Explicit. The role develops high-fidelity finite-element models, correlates them with physical drop tests, supports design-of-experiments studies, and provides design recommendations for drop survivability, material selection, weight reduction, and compliance with IEC, JEDEC, or OEM standards. The position requires strong Abaqus/Explicit and explicit dynamics expertise, experience with consumer electronics and related materials, CAD and CAE tool knowledge, and a master’s degree in mechanical, automotive, or mechatronics engineering.
