Description
The DSP Training Mentor provides initial and ongoing on-the-job training and mentoring to Direct Support Personnel in a residential program, coordinates training with the Residential team, supports new employees in the Charleston/Mattoon area, and may fill DSP shifts or assist with scheduling. The role is permanent and full-time, scheduled Tuesday through Saturday with rotating on-call responsibilities, and requires a GED or high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, at least two years of Direct Support or comparable I/DD experience, background checks, CPR/First Aid certification, functional health literacy testing, and medication administration training.
