Description
The Ductwork Installation Technician installs, fabricates, assembles, repairs, and inspects duct systems in oil and gas facilities. The role includes measuring and cutting ducts, interpreting blueprints and schematics, marking metal sheets, sealing joints, inspecting for leaks, maintaining tools, and collaborating with HVAC technicians, welders, and engineers. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, preferably a technical certification in duct installation, HVAC, or a related field, and 3–5 years of ductwork installation experience, including at least 2 years in the oil and gas industry. The position may require work in remote, offshore, or desert locations.
