Description
The Duty Engineer performs engineering and maintenance work throughout the hotel, including repairs in guest bedrooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas, as well as electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning, fire-protection, carpentry, and plumbing tasks. The role also handles preventive maintenance in plant rooms, inspects the building and operating equipment, and collaborates with security on health and safety matters. A hotel maintenance and engineering background is required, while mechanical, electrical, or plumbing qualifications and IT troubleshooting skills are beneficial.
