AST SpaceMobile is hiring a Dynamic Scheduler DSP Algorithm Engineer to design, analyze, and improve resource-allocation algorithms for a satellite payload system. The role focuses on large-scale combinatorial and convex optimization, balancing efficiency, coverage, and performance, validating solutions through simulation and real-system metrics, and ensuring scalability. The engineer will use Python or MATLAB, apply optimization frameworks and solvers, and work across algorithm, system, and hardware constraints, with occasional travel and lab or test environment exposure.
