Description
General Matter is hiring a Dynamics Engineer to own dynamics, loads, and vibration analysis for hardware, including requirements definition, hand calculations, data analysis, FEA modeling, testing, signal processing, model correlation, root-cause analysis, and hardware mitigations. The role collaborates with mechanical, electrical, software, manufacturing, nuclear, materials, and physics teams and requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, at least three years of mechanical engineering experience, and one year of structural dynamic analysis or FEA experience. The base salary is $125,000–$200,000 annually, with possible long-term incentives and medical, vision, and dental coverage.
