Stratolaunch is hiring a Dynamics Engineer to lead aeroelastic development for an air-launched hypersonic flight vehicle. The role covers aeroelastic and aeroservoelastic analysis, flutter margins, ground vibration and structural dynamic testing, model correlation, instrumentation requirements, flight-test support, vehicle loads, risk mitigation, and technical documentation. Candidates need a strong structures or dynamics background, FEMAP/Nastran and aeroelastic modeling experience, Python or MATLAB data-processing skills, and vehicle or structural ground-testing experience. The position is based in Mojave, California, with approximately 20% travel and consideration for remote work for well-qualified candidates.
