Description
The E-Line Operator assists with the preparation, maintenance, and operation of electric line equipment and tools during wireline field operations. This role involves performing regular maintenance on wireline units and trucks, rigging in and out of various equipment like lubricators and logging tools, assisting with loading perforating guns, operating electrical meters, and learning to assemble and disassemble rope sockets and cableheads. The operator also maintains safety and operational documentation, performs hot-shot deliveries, and helps with shop and yard cleanliness. The position requires strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, on-call environment, often involving weekend and holiday shifts.
