Description
The Electrical Drafter / Designer reports to the Electrical Engineering Department and works with Project Engineers and Business Managers on industrial electricity, automation, and industrial computing projects. The role designs and adapts electrical diagrams, cabinet and equipment layouts, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, cable lists, terminal schedules, and I/O lists; prepares or verifies sizing calculations; ensures compliance with RGIE and CE standards; updates as-built drawings; and coordinates with suppliers, panel builders, production teams, site managers, and commissioning technicians. The position requires relevant initial or proven experience, EPLAN Electric P8 proficiency, knowledge of industrial electrical components and sizing tools, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
