WSP is hiring an Assistant Technician, Design Support for its Baton Rouge, Louisiana office to provide technical design and CADD support on power delivery distribution projects. The role involves preparing plans, profiles, models, sections, details, specifications, material lists, reports, and other design deliverables; assisting with data collection, calculations, code compliance, change orders, and project reviews; and collaborating with engineers and cross-functional teams. The position requires a high school diploma, at least three years of relevant post-education experience, drafting and design support experience, and basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, spreadsheets, and related tools. An associate’s degree and professional licensure or certification are preferred, and relocation is not available.
