Description
The Technical Assistance Specialist provides culturally appropriate, values-neutral technical assistance, mentoring, coaching, and training to center-based and family-based childcare programs enrolled in Grow NJ Kids. The role includes assessing and improving early childhood programs using tools such as ECERS, ITERS, FCCERS, and the Strengthening Families Self-Assessment; supporting program improvement plans; conducting onsite visits and reporting; representing Grow NJ Kids in community settings; and maintaining confidentiality and professional standards. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in early childhood or a related field, at least three years of early childhood education experience, relevant certification or practical expertise, computer proficiency, and a valid driver’s license with automobile insurance.
