Description
The Early Childhood Wellness Coordinator provides trauma-informed mental health consultation, classroom observations, behavioral assessments, coaching, individualized intervention planning, multidisciplinary team support, family referrals, and staff training for Head Start and Early Head Start programs. The role requires a master's degree in a behavioral health field, current California Board of Behavioral Sciences registration as an associate clinical social worker, marriage and family therapist, or professional clinical counselor, or current registration as a psychologist, along with at least five years of experience working with EHS and Head Start families and teachers. The position also requires travel within Los Angeles County, a valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and automobile insurance.
