Description
The City of Oakland's Human Services Department, Head Start Division, is hiring an Early Head Start Instructor to work in centers or conduct home visits. The role instructs infants and toddlers, facilitates caregiver learning, assists with developmental assessments, prepares classroom and home materials, conducts safety drills and screenings, and collaborates with families on individualized educational programs. Applicants must meet specified early childhood education or child development education and experience requirements, hold or qualify for a California Teacher Permit, and obtain a Child Development Permit, Pediatric First Aid and CPR certifications, and other required clearances.
