Easterseals is hiring an Early Head Start Lead Teacher at its Bladensburg Road center in Washington, DC. The role leads an Early Head Start classroom, plans and implements curriculum, supports children with disabilities, conducts assessments and Individualized Learning Plans, collaborates with families and staff, and maintains a safe, healthy learning environment. The position reports to the Center Director, is non-exempt, and pays $20–$25 with health, dental, vision, CDA, education assistance, and other benefits. Qualifications include an early childhood education credential or related degree with preschool-teaching experience, bilingual Spanish-English preference, CPR and First Aid certification, and the ability to lift children and perform classroom duties.
