Description
The Early Head Start Teacher will work 35 hours per week planning, organizing, and implementing developmentally appropriate education services for infants and toddlers ages 6 months to 3 years. The role collaborates with a Co-Teacher and Classroom Aide, prepares lesson plans, completes developmental, behavioral, and sensory screenings, and follows Head Start, Indiana Day Care Licensing, CACFP, and program procedures requirements. A Childhood Development Associate credential or comparable credential, early childhood development training, and infant-toddler development coursework are required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and infant-toddler teaching experience are preferred. The position offers medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, paid leave, holidays, and a 401(k) plan, with hourly pay of $18.77 to $21.44.
