Climate Defiance is looking for an Earned Media Director to generate earned media across various platforms. The role requires a collaborative and empathetic leader with strong communication and organizational skills, committed to social change, and experienced in nonviolent confrontation and direct action. The ideal candidate will have experience generating earned media and liaising with the press, ideally for progressive causes, and be willing to travel extensively. The position offers a salary of $62,400, unlimited vacation time, group health care, and a 401(k) with a 3% employer contribution. The role is remote within the U.S. with a slight preference for candidates in or willing to relocate to a major metropolitan area.
