Description
Ochsner is hiring a Cardiac Sonographer to provide individualized, direct patient care and perform cardiac ultrasound procedures, including echocardiograms, Doppler and color-flow imaging, exercise stress echo, and dobutamine stress echo. The role also involves compiling diagnostic information, presenting preliminary findings, educating patients, documenting procedures, and assisting physicians with ultrasonically guided interventions. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, no prior experience is required, and one year of cardiac ultrasound experience is preferred. An active RDCS or RCS registry credential within six months of hire and Basic Life Support certification are required.
