Description
The Echocardiography Technologist performs adult transthoracic, stress, and dobutamine stress echocardiograms, assists with trans echocardiography and left atrial appendage closures, provides preliminary diagnostic evaluations, and notifies cardiologists of results. The role requires an associate degree or two-year technical certificate, at least two years of diagnostic echocardiogram experience, a technical certificate, and registration or registry eligibility within six months of hire. The position requires rotation and receives direction from providers and department managers or supervisors.
