St. Francis–Emory Healthcare is hiring a cardiac sonographer to provide clinical support and perform cardiac imaging, including adult echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, and stress echocardiograms. The role requires measurements and calculations according to policy or protocol, critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and complete a formal diagnostic medical sonography program, a certificate echocardiogram program, or an accredited cardiovascular technology ultrasound program. New graduates must register with ARDMS or Cardiovascular Credentialing International within one year of hire, and BLS certification is required.
