Description
The Echocardiography Technologist assists with noninvasive cardiac procedures in the Cardiology Department, including 2D/Doppler, pericardiocentesis, bubble, contrast-medium, and electrocardiogram studies. The role involves patient preparation, medical-history review, cardiac measurements, documentation, and maintaining ultrasound and computer competency. It requires an accredited ultrasound or sonography diploma, Basic Life Support, and echocardiography experience, with RDCS or CCI certification required within one year of hire.
