USAA is hiring an Executive Director, Agentic Core IT Processes to lead the transformation and modernization of core IT processes through Agentic AI, intelligent automation, and modern software engineering practices. The role owns AI-agent strategy, governance, operating models, SDLC controls, risk and compliance, vendor management, application portfolio oversight, and enterprise-scale technology transformation. It requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience, extensive IT management and software delivery experience, and 10+ years leading software engineering, delivery, DevSecOps, platform engineering, or SDLC transformation functions. The position is based in San Antonio and requires an individual to work in the office four days per week. The salary range is $195,230 to $351,410, and USAA does not provide visa sponsorship.
