Description
The Emergency Department Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides routine and emergency medical care under the supervision of a licensed physician at the Emergency Department on the main campus in Waiʻanae. The role requires accredited PA or NP training, NCPAA or AANP certification, two to three years of post-graduate emergency department experience, PALS and ACLS certification, Hawaii State Board of Medical Examiners licensure, and controlled substance prescriptive authority.
