Description
Scripps Mercy Chula Vista is hiring a full-time Emergency Department Technician to support patient care in the emergency department or urgent care setting. The role works 72 hours per two-week pay period on 12-hour day shifts, including weekends, and assists nurses and physicians with vital signs, patient care procedures, specimen collection, patient transport, and unit secretary duties. Candidates must hold a California-issued EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic certification or CNA certification, along with BLS Healthcare Provider certification; one year of healthcare experience, emergency services experience, and EMT certification are preferred.
