Huawei’s Pisa Research Institute is hiring a researcher to develop next-generation AI models for intelligent vehicles and edge computing systems. The role focuses on post-training techniques, efficient Mixture-of-Experts architectures, model compression, sparse inference, and deployment optimization across CPUs, GPUs, NPUs, and automotive SoCs. The researcher will also benchmark open-source models, collaborate with software platform teams, and contribute to publications and technical innovation. A master’s or PhD in a relevant field, transformer and deep-learning knowledge, PyTorch and distributed-training experience, and prior research in model optimization, efficient AI, edge AI, or foundation models are required or highly valued.
