BIP is hiring an Edge Software Developer for its IoT Centre of Excellence. The role focuses on building high-performance, reliable Go software and event-driven microservices for edge-computing environments, using industrial and messaging protocols such as MQTT, Kafka, gRPC, OPC-UA, Modbus, and IEC standards. Responsibilities include end-to-end team ownership, technology scouting, and mentoring. Candidates should have strong Golang, concurrency, Docker/Kubernetes, testing, Linux, CI/CD, shell scripting, version control, Agile/Scrum, and industrial-protocol experience. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement and a gross annual salary of €34,000–€48,000.
