Description

The Editor will support BJU Press’s Editorial team by directing the development, copy, and production editing of K–12 educational materials with a biblical worldview. The role evaluates manuscripts for accuracy, organization, grade-level appropriateness, and biblical soundness; corrects manuscripts for consistency and detail; proofreads PDF page proofs; maintains publishing standards; communicates with project teams; and completes special projects. The position requires strong English grammar and mechanics, Chicago Manual of Style proficiency, editorial-test performance, and a relevant master’s degree or bachelor’s degree with the specified experience, plus a born-again Christian affiliation and agreement with the Bob Jones University group’s creed and doctrines. After onboarding, the employee may apply for a hybrid work schedule.
