CherryRoad Media is hiring a News Editor to oversee daily newsroom operations for local print and digital news. The role assigns stories, edits articles, manages deadlines and budgets, leads breaking news, mentors reporters, and ensures ethical and professional journalism standards. It requires a bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience, plus 3–5 years of newsroom experience. The position is based in a mixed newsroom/office environment with possible remote or hybrid work, and full-time employees receive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
