The Codification Editor reviews, organizes, edits, and finalizes municipal legislation and codes for publication. The role manages client expectations, project schedules, milestones, and deliverables; prepares tables of contents, amendment histories, cross-references, editorial notes, adopting ordinances, and legal analyses; and coordinates with clients and editorial assistants. It requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, project-management and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and knowledge of Microsoft Office. The position is based in Rochester, New York, reports to the Editorial Team Manager, and pays $40,000 to $42,000.
