Description
The Codification Specialist reviews, organizes, and edits municipal legislation and other client materials; incorporates and amends legislation, resolves conflicts and inconsistencies, updates cross-references and statutory references, adds historical information and editor’s notes, and prepares supplements and adopting ordinances. The role also coordinates with clients, manages project schedules and deliverables, and resolves conflicts. It requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, project-management and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and Microsoft Office proficiency. The position is based in Rochester, New York, reports to the Editorial Team Manager, and pays $40,000 to $42,000.
