Description
The Education Coordinator reports to the Director of Educational Services and serves as a site coordinator for Early Head Start or Head Start centers and partnership sites. The role oversees education and early childhood development compliance, classroom accreditation, curriculum and training implementation, teacher and parent support, special-needs and behavioral services, referrals, data reporting, and collaboration with school districts and other agencies. It also supervises teachers and teacher assistants and requires a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field, four years of preschool teaching experience, personnel-management experience, and several Maryland-specific qualifications.
